Ownership & monthly costs
Check fee simple or leasehold status, association finances and any assessments. An older building may have repair needs that don't show up in the unit photos.
Your daily drive
Start with where you'll work.
Fort Shafter and Tripler are toward town's western side, with JBPHH farther west. Local streets connect to the freeway corridor, but traffic and your parking setup matter. Schofield and MCBH Kaneohe Bay are cross-island commutes.
Drive times vary with traffic, your gate and your shift. I'll help you compare routes, then you can try the drive when you'd actually be leaving home.
